Handyman & home repairs · Champlin, MNHand me your to-do list.
I’m Jesse. Send me the repairs and small fixes you’ve been meaning to get to, and I’ll work through the whole list as one project. You won’t have to line up a different contractor for every line on it.
- The whole list, one project
- Free estimates from photos
- Usually starts within a week
- Insured
What’s on the list
What I can help with
Most calls start with “I’ve got a few things,” and that’s exactly the kind of call I want. Send me the list and a few photos, or I’ll come walk through the house with you. I’ll talk through the options on each item, give you a free estimate, and then work through it all with one cleanup at the end.
I’m not a carpenter by trade. I learned working next to some veteran tradesmen and on plenty of my own projects, and I go by one rule: “Every project gets treated like it was done at my own house.”
- Repair lists and small fixes
- Drywall patches and dings
- Doors that stick or won’t latch
- Inspection-report items
- Toilets, sinks, lights and detectors
- Odd jobs you keep putting off
While I’m there
- Paint the walls once they’re patched
- Fix a window that sticks
- Put LVP down in a room or two
- Haul away what’s left over
- Clean up the yard
It all goes on one estimate, and I clean up once at the end.
Who calls me
Who I usually work for
Homeowners
The list on the fridge that kept growing all winter. I’ll knock it out in one project, instead of you taking five different days off for five different people.
Realtors and sellers
Say a listing needs a dozen little things done before Thursday’s photos. I can usually make that work, nights and weekends included. I’ve been working with realtors and sellers for 10+ years.
Landlords and property managers
Turnovers, repair lists and the small repairs tenants call about. Rentals and commercial properties both.
From a recent job
New deck steps and a stair railing
The kind of fix that sits on the list for years. New steps off the deck from pressure-treated lumber, and a new railing on the stairs.

Handyman questions
Things people ask before they call
What kinds of jobs do you take on?
A lot of different ones. Repairs, small fixes, paint, fixtures, flooring, junk removal and yard work all come up. If you’re not sure, text me a photo and ask. If something needs a licensed specialist, I’ll tell you up front, and I can subcontract that part to a licensed pro when it makes sense.
Can you do everything on my list at once?
Yes, and I’d rather do it that way. Instead of hiring a painter, a hauler and someone for the toilet, you deal with me, get one estimate, and I clean up once at the end.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, $100. Smaller jobs I charge by the hour, and bigger projects I bid as a whole. The estimate is free, and I take cash, check, Venmo or PayPal.
Do you work with realtors, landlords and property managers?
Yes. I work with homeowners, realtors, landlords, property managers and rental owners, on houses, rentals and commercial properties. Repair lists and inspection reports are a normal part of the job.
How soon can you start?
Usually within about a week of your first call, and I’m around for short-notice jobs, nights and weekends. Spring through fall gets busy, so winter can be a good time to get indoor projects done.
