Interior & exterior painting · Champlin, MNPainting, inside and out

Painting is what people call me for most. Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and the outside of the house, for homes, rentals and listings around the Twin Cities. I take care of the prep and the cleanup too.

What I paint

Rooms, trim, doors and exteriors

Most painting jobs are part of something bigger. Somebody’s getting a house ready to list, turning over a rental, or finally dealing with the scuffed-up hallway. I take care of the whole room, from patching the dings to putting the outlet covers back on.

Prep is most of a good paint job. Nail holes and dings get patched, bare spots get spot-primed so the finish coat dries even, and I clean up when it’s done.

When people call me to paint

Usually it’s one of these

Selling soon

Fresh, neutral paint is one of the easiest ways to make a listing look cared for. I’ll work around your realtor’s timeline.

Between tenants

Scuffs, nail holes and a full repaint if it needs one, so the unit is ready to show again.

Ready for a change

One bedroom, the living room, or the whole house. Inside, outside, or both.

An exterior repaint, prep to finish

The bare and worn spots get spot-primed first, so the finish coat dries to one even color.

Painting questions

Things people ask about painting

Do you supply the paint?

I can pick it up, or use paint you’ve already chosen. Either way’s fine.

Can you give me a price from photos?

A lot of the time, yes. Send a wide shot of each room or wall and a close-up of any damage. For bigger jobs or exteriors I might come take a look first. The estimate’s free either way.

Do you paint exteriors?

Yes, inside and out. Spring through fall gets busy, so it helps to call early.

Can you do other repairs while you’re there?

Yes, and I’d encourage it. Add the toilet, the light fixture or the junk in the garage to the same estimate and I’ll take care of it all together.
