Garage floor coverings · Twin CitiesLet’s do something about that garage floor.
Years of oil drips, road salt and tires add up. I prep the concrete, put the floor covering down and clean up after, and if the garage needs emptying first, I can do that too.

How a garage floor job goes
A lot of a garage floor job is prep. The floor has to be empty and clean before anything goes down, which is why I’m happy to do the cleanout as part of the job. I’ll look at the concrete, we’ll talk through the options, and I’ll take care of the whole thing.
- Clearing out the garage first
- Cleaning and prepping the concrete
- Putting the floor covering down
- Cleaning up and hauling off the mess
While I’m already there
- Clear out the garage before the floor goes down
- Move heavy items out and back in
- Paint the garage walls and the service door
- Swap out the garage light fixtures
- Fix the little things on your list
Put it all on one estimate and I’ll clean up before I go.

Why people redo the garage floor
Getting ready to sell
Buyers open the garage door too. An empty garage with a clean floor looks like somebody took care of the place.
Years of oil and salt
Minnesota winters are rough on a garage floor. Salt comes in on the tires, the car drips, and after enough years the concrete looks it.
More than a place to park
Maybe it’s where the workbench is, or where the kids ride bikes when it rains. A covered floor makes it a nicer place to spend time.
Garage floor questions
What people ask me about garage floors
What kind of floor covering do you install?
It depends on your floor and how you use the garage. I’ll look at the concrete, from photos or in person, and we’ll talk through the options before you decide anything.
Do I need to empty the garage first?
The floor does have to be clear. If emptying it is a whole project on its own, I can do the cleanout and haul off whatever you’re not keeping, all on the same estimate.
Can you estimate a garage floor from photos?
Photos are a good start. Send one wide shot of the whole floor and a few close-ups of the worst stains or cracks. If I need a closer look, I’ll come out. The estimate is free either way.
Can you paint the garage walls while you’re there?
Sure. The walls, the service door, a light fixture and the junk in the corner can all go on the same estimate.
