What I can help you move
For me, moving help is mostly lifting and hauling. Maybe it’s a dresser and a couch going to your daughter’s new apartment, or a house that has to be empty by Friday’s closing. Tell me what’s going where and I’ll tell you what it’ll take. Honestly, helping people through a big move is my favorite part of this work.

Selling the house
Say your realtor wants the extra furniture gone before Thursday’s listing photos. I can get it out, and knock out the touch-ups while I’m there.
A tenant just moved out
The last tenant left a couch and a mattress behind. I’ll haul those off. If the next tenant needs furniture moved in, I can do that on another trip.
Helping family move
Moving a parent into a smaller place is hard enough without carrying the dresser down the stairs yourself. Let me do the lifting.

Do you bring a truck?
Yes, a truck and a trailer. Tell me roughly what’s going and where, and I’ll figure out how many trips it’ll take.
How do you price moving help?
Smaller jobs are by the hour, with a $100 minimum. Bigger ones I bid as a whole job. Send me a list of the big pieces and a few photos, and I’ll put together a free estimate.
How far will you go?
I don’t have a hard limit. If it’s a long drive, I build the travel into the price instead of saying no. Tell me where it’s headed and I’ll let you know what makes sense.
Can you work around my closing or move-out date?
Tell me the date when you call. I can usually start within about a week, and I work nights and weekends, so the sooner you’re on my calendar the better.
Can you haul away the junk too?
Yep. Whatever isn’t making the move can go on the same job, and I clean up before I leave. If the place you’re leaving needs patching or paint, add that too.
